Schlosser Development is an Austin-born company started in 1986 by brothers Bradley & Andy Schlosser. In 1996, Schlosser turned its sights on the 12-acre, 4+ block area at 6th Street and Lamar to create an urban mixed-use development. By 2005, Schlosser continued it development of the new Austin “Market District” with the completion of Whole Food’s Flagship store. With the buildup of the area, Schlosser solidified its reputation as a respected, design-driven development firm by winning the Urban Vision Award from DANA for the “Best Planned Development”.
Over the years, Schlosser has continued to develop properties in the aera including the LEED Certified 5th Street & Lamar Boulevard Development, the $100 million-dollar Shoal Creek Walk property, and newly renovated and built Treaty Oaks Square.
Schlosser is also delving into other markets such as Raleigh NC; Phoenix AZ; Aspen CO; Santa Barbara CA. Austin, however, remains our main market and we are always looking for new and exciting opportunities.
